I’m excited to be able to offer you the option to still access Kangatraining from the comfort and safety of your home. There are 2 options to KangaOnline at home- Live with Zoom or Streamed video with Vimeo.

Live KangaOnline via Zoom

** Live sessions are not currently running. We are back to in person sessions, online videos are available, please see below**

You will need to have a device such as a smart phone, tablet or laptop with a camera to access our sessions via Zoom. You may like to have the video play through your TV to have a larger image to follow along to. These sessions are a great way to kept connected and socialise while staying at home, we still have a great chat at the end of each session.

All Zoom session details are available in our Facebook Online group, the details will be emailed to you once you register. There are currently 4 sessions running per week- Monday 1030, Tuesday 10, Friday 930 and Saturday 10am.

Before your first session I will contact you to set up a private Zoom session so we can say hello, go over the registration forms, basic babywearing safety and advice and have a quick run down of a Kangatraining session.

Pricing is per week based on the number of sessions you wish to attend:
1 session- $10
2 sessions/week-$14
3+/week- $18

Carrier hire:
$50 deposit, $40 refunded on return of the carrier in undamaged condition. Contact me for availability.

Streamed videos with Vimeo

Our streamed videos are pre filmed and grant you access for 1 week and are changed every Wednesday. You can Kanga with these videos as many times as you like within the access period, at any time that suits your schedule.

I can still contact you before your first streamed session to cover safe babywearing, chat about your forms and give you some hints on Kangatraining.

For both of these sessions you will be sent an invoice, this will be weekly and you have the option to set up direct debit via credit card. You must stay in front of you sessions to continue to have access to our Online service. You can cancel anytime with 1 weeks written notice and these payments will cease once we return to face to face sessions. During our time offering Online services there will be no make up sessions available and any missed sessions will expire once we stop Online sessions.

Pre filmed session changed on a weekly basis- $10/week.
Add on to above live sessions- $5/ week

Sessions to be changed on Wednesday each week. You have unlimited access during the access period. Link and password will be sent once invoice paid.

When you Kanga online your safety is, as always, a priority for us.
So please consider the below points before your workout.

SAFETY AT HOME

  • Please ensure that you have a safe area set up with space to workout. Remove all toys or anything that could be a trip hazard.
  • Please consider pets and ensure that they won’t be a trip hazard.
  • Please ensure you have a phone close by in the Event of injury.

DISCLAIMER

You should understand that when participating in any exercise or dance program, there is the possibility of physical injury.

If you engage in any of our online programs, you agree that you do so at your own risk, are voluntarily participating in these activities, assume all risk of injury to yourself, and agree to release and discharge Kangatraining Australia from any and all claims or causes of action, known or unknown, arising out of Kangatraining Australia negligence.

If wearing your baby, it is solely your responsibility to ensure the carrier is optimal, correctly fitted and safe for the activity you are partaking in.

BABYWEARING

Please ensure you are using a baby carrier that has been approved by myself or another instructor for suitability for Kangatraining. If this is the first time you’ve participated in Kangatraining please let me know what carrier you have so we can discuss its suitability. I do have approved carriers available for hire that you can keep at your home while we have Online sessions running.

IT IS INCREDIBLY IMPORTANT THAT YOUR CARRIER IS CORRECTLY FITTED

When baby is in the carrier please ensure you follow “TICKS”

✓ T – Tight The carrier should be tight with your child positioned in a high and upright position. Any looseness can cause your baby to slump, restricting their breathing.

✓ I – In view at all times By just tilting your head down you should be able to see your baby’s face to check that their airway is clear. Their nose and mouth should be uncovered and not blocked by the carrier, sling or your body.

✓ C – Close enough to Kiss You should be able to tip your head forward to easily kiss the top of your baby’s head. If your child is on your back you should be able to tilt your head back and touch the top of their head

✓ K – Keep chin off chest – Your child’s chin should remain up and away from their body. They should never be in a curled position where their chin is forced onto their chest as it may restrict their breathing. Check now and check often! Babies can be in distress without making any noise or movement

✓ S – Supported back – Your baby should be held in a supported, natural position with their tummy and chest against you.

INJURIES OR CONDITIONS

If you’re using our online streaming please consider any injuries or conditions.

You must be 6 weeks post natural birth or 12 weeks post C Section to participate in this class with clearance from your health professional.

If you have any injuries or conditions please get in touch with me prior to the class so we can discuss.

If you have any pain or discomfort during the class please stop immediately and if you injure yourself during the class please seek medical help immediately.

Keeping in mind this is a low impact workout designed for postnatal mums so injury is unlikely.
